Hotels to Be Cautious Of
In general, the hotels listed on our map in Mecca are highly recommended. However, we do have some specific feedback regarding a few locations:
Pullman Zamzam Mecca: Based on reliable feedback, we do not recommend this hotel. Although it is situated in the Clock Tower and often comes at a lower price, it has been reported to be outdated with infestation issues and poor customer service. Despite its location and affordability, the overall guest experience does not meet our honest recommendations
Note: Pullman Zamzam In Medinah, in contrast, is a well-regarded hotel and offers a vastly different experience compared to its Mecca counterpart.
Al-Safwah Towers: We currently lack comprehensive information about this hotel, located on the far left of the map.

When choosing a hotel in Mecca, consider these four important factors:
Distance to the Haram: Proximity to the Haram is crucial for convenience and ease of access. Hotels closer to the Haram allow for more frequent and comfortable visits to the sacred mosque. especially for the elderly.
Ka'bah Accessibility: Evaluate how easily you can access the Ka'bah from your hotel. Some hotels are on the tile floors, allowing to see the Ka'ba for every prayer. if your hotel isnt located on the tile floor ⭐️ noted on the map, during peak times you may be redirected to pray in the expansion
Budget: Align your hotel choice with your budget. While closer hotels may be more expensive, it's important to find a balance between cost and convenience.
Elevator Situation in the Clock Tower: In hotels within the Clock Tower, the elevator situation can be complex, usually requiring TWO sets of elevators to get to your room or ground floor. This can be an inconvenience compared to hotels without this Situation
These factors will help you select a hotel that best suits your needs and enhances your stay in Mecca.

If your not using credit card points, then we suggest booking with hotel directly. If a booking website has a cheaper price, almost all hotels will match that price.
of note, you must call the hotel company to do this, not the actual hotel itself. for example, call Hyatt international number, and NOT Hyatt Jabal Omar location itself in Mecca. Another example is all the Accor Hotels(majority of the hotels in the clocktower) call Accor international number, and they can price match)
